Foot and Mouth -- MalawiNtcheu district director of agriculture, environment, and natural resources, Edward Katunga, has confirmed an outbreak of foot and mouth disease (FMD) in the district.According to Katunga, the highly infectious disease, which mainly affected cattle, pigs, sheep and goats, has affected Ndembo 2 Village in the area of Traditional Authority (TA) Ganya in Sharpe Valley Extension Planning Area (EPA).So far, 7 cattle have clinically proven to be affected by the disease.[Byline: Read more [...]
