Rabies -- United StatesLarimer County has announced a confirmed case of rabies in a steer -- the 1st case in a mammal other than a skunk this year [2019]. The Larimer County Department of Health and Environment said rabies is most common in skunks and bats but will occasionally cross over into other species.
