Melioidosis -- VietnamThe Hanoi-based Bach Mai Hospital yesterday [Tue 10 Sep 2019] warned of a high possibility of death from rare Whitmore's disease [melioidosis], as the disease re-occurred and killed 4 people in August [2019]. Moreover, the fatal disease infected 12 patients including a woman suffering from a severe abscess on her nose.
